How Consignment Works with Second Chance Exchange

1. Get Started
Fill out our simple online form or request a quick call from us to set up your pickup.

2. We Pick Up
We come directly to you in the Burlington or Greensboro area. All you need to do is pack your items — we’ll handle the rest.

3. Sorting & Listing
Once we receive your items, we carefully sort through them:

• Items must meet quality standards.
• Clothing with stains or tears, damaged goods, or anything with pests/animal waste cannot be sold and will be discarded.
• Approved items are listed online alongside proven best sellers to maximize your chances of a sale.
• You'll be able to sign up for our portal to watch as your items are listed, sell, and to get payment for them. 

4. Sales & Commissions

• We'll process your items and get them online as quickly as possible. The first day that your items are available for purchase is considered Day 1.
• If your item sells from day 1 - day 60, you keep 60% of the profit.
• If it sells from day 61 - day 120, you keep 50% of the profit.
• If an item remains unsold after day 120, it will be sold in bulk to volume dealers at a general per-item rate.

5. You Get Paid

• Payments are deposited into your account 10 business days after a sale.
• Once your balance reaches $10 or more, you can withdraw your earnings anytime.
• All you have to do is sit back, relax, and watch the deposits roll in.
